Ibrahim Akrache, a former detainee in terrorism cases, has recently revealed new information that contradicts the claims made by Ali Aarrass, a former detainee of the « Belliraj Cell », regarding allegations of torture.

In a new video shared on YouTube, Akrache stated that he traveled to Belgium after Aarrass promised to help him settle there during their shared time in Salé prison.

Upon his arrival in Belgium, Akrache tried multiple times to find the address of his former cellmate, but to no avail. He then attempted to reach out to him through Facebook, but Aarrass ignored his messages.

Akrache asserted in the same video that Aarrass « took every precaution to continue his project of lies and slander, » detailing his attempts to locate or communicate with him. He also mentioned trying to reach Aarrass through a person in Belgium, named Mohand, a member of Aarrass’s party, but this individual denied any prior acquaintance with Aarrass.

Akrache said: « This man was planning from prison, and he doesn’t have friends, only his own interests, » rejecting Aarrass’s claims about being prevented from going out for walks or having meals in prison.

The former detainee clarified that the audio recordings presented by Aarrass in an interview with a YouTuber named Yuba were actually messages he had sent, asking Aarrass to remove a video that contained accusations against him.

He further addressed Aarrass directly: « You lied about me, about the brothers, about the Moroccan state, about Belgium, Spain, and your party. Everyone believed your story while you shed crocodile tears… The people you are lying to and claiming tortured you, if they had truly wanted to harm you, they would never have released you from prison. Don’t fool people. »
