Moroccan international Ashraf Dari is at risk of missing the crucial match between Al Ahly and Zamalek, scheduled for next Thursday as part of the Egyptian Super Cup final.
This came after confirmations from Al Ahly’s coach, Marcel Koller, who indicated that the player is dealing with an injury causing swelling in his foot, making him unfit for participation.
In his statements to the press, Koller explained that Dari needs more time for a full recovery, which is why he was absent from the recent match against Ceramica. The Swiss coach added that he hopes for the player’s swift return, considering him a key part of the team’s lineup.
Meanwhile, journalist Khaled Al-Ghandour disclosed on his show on Egypt’s « Al Mehwar » channel that Dari informed the medical team of pain in his ankle, leading Koller and the technical staff to exclude him from the Ceramica match to prevent further injury.
With the Super Cup final approaching, doubts remain about Dari’s participation, while Al Ahly fans anxiously await updates on his condition, hoping he will be fit to bolster the team in this crucial encounter.
