King Mohammed VI Welcomes New Governors and Walis

His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, received this Wednesday at the Royal Palace in Rabat the newly appointed walis and governors in territorial and central administration.

The appointments are as follows:

Walis of territorial administration:

• Mr. Moaad Jamai, wali of the Fès-Meknès region, governor of the Fès prefecture.

• Mr. Khatib El Hebil, wali of the Oriental region, governor of the Oujda-Angad prefecture.

• Mr. Saïd Zniber, wali of the Drâa-Tafilalet region, governor of the Errachidia province.

• Mr. Mohamed Benribak, wali of the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region, governor of the Béni Mellal province.

Wali of central administration:

• Mr. Jaloul Samsam, wali, general director of territorial communities.

Governors of territorial administration:

• Mr. Mohamed Aatifawi, governor of El Jadida province.

• Mr. Mostafa Nouhi, governor of the Skhirat-Témara prefecture.

• Mr. Abdelhamid Al Mazid, governor of Kénitra province.

• Mr. Mohamed Fattah, governor of Safi province.

• Mr. Mabrouk Tabit, governor of Taroudant province.

During the audience, the newly appointed governors took their oath before His Majesty the King. The ceremony was attended by Interior Minister Mr. Abdelouafi Laftit and the King’s chamberlain, Sidi Mohamed Alaoui.
