The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened trading this Thursday with a positive performance. The main index « MASI » increased by 0.32%, settling at 14,164.09 points.
The « MASI.20 » index, reflecting the performance of the top 20 listed companies, also gained 0.32%, reaching 1,140.21 points. Similarly, the MASI.ESG index, which tracks companies with the best ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) ratings, rose by 0.31% to 1,017.58 points.
For small and medium-sized enterprises, the « MASI Mid and Small Cap » index recorded a growth of 0.13%, reaching 1,359.39 points.
In terms of individual stock performances, the biggest increases were seen in « Delta Holding » (+4.54% / 54.99 MAD), « Managem » (+2.61% / 1,375 MAD), « Risma » (+1.84% / 218.95 MAD), « Douja Promotion Addoha » (+1.62% / 35.06 MAD), and « Alliances » (+1.54% / 330 MAD).
On the other hand, the biggest declines were recorded by « CTM » (-2.07% / 650 MAD), « Afma » (-1.94% / 1,164 MAD), « Cosumar » (-1.79% / 192.5 MAD), « Résidences Dar Saada » (-1.72% / 80 MAD), and « Stokvis North Africa » (-1.6% / 14.75 MAD).
Yesterday, the MASI index closed with a gain of 0.23%.
