French President Emmanuel Macron, along with his wife, Brigitte Macron, left Morocco this Wednesday afternoon, concluding his state visit at the invitation of King Mohammed VI.
At Rabat-Salé airport, Macron was seen off by the Moroccan Prime Minister, Aziz Akhannouch.
Before departing, the French president reviewed a Royal Air Force honor guard. He also greeted members of the delegation of honor, including Minister of Urban Planning and Housing Fatima Zahra Mansouri and Morocco’s ambassador to Paris, Samira Sitail.
Additionally, several other figures were present to bid farewell to Macron, including Mohamed Yaacoubi, the governor of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, Rachid El Abdi, the president of the regional council, and other officials from the French embassy in Rabat and local civil and military authorities.
