The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts for Thursday generally light, scattered rains over Tangier, Loukkos, Gharb, western Rif, and the western Mediterranean coast. Additional light rain might be possible along the Atlantic coast north of Safi. The weather will be relatively cold, with localized frost expected in the Atlas Mountains and eastern highlands. Moderate to strong winds are also anticipated along the northern coast.
Minimum temperatures will range from 0 to 6 degrees in the Atlas Mountains and high plateaus, 14 to 22 degrees along the northern Atlantic plains and the southern Sahara, and between 7 and 13 degrees across the rest of the country. Daytime temperatures will continue to rise.
In terms of sea conditions, the Mediterranean coast will experience calm to strong waves, moderate to agitated waves in the Strait of Gibraltar, mild waves between Tarfaya and Dakhla, and varying conditions from mild to agitated on other coasts.
