The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened its trading session on Wednesday with a positive performance. Its main index, MASI, saw a 0.36% increase, settling at 14,702.44 points.
Right after the opening, both the MASI.20, reflecting the performance of the top 20 listed companies, and the MASI.ESG, an index of companies with top ESG ratings, strengthened. MASI.20 rose by 0.43% to reach 1,190.41 points, while MASI.ESG gained 0.17% to stand at 1,053 points.
Similarly, the MASI Mid and Small Cap, which tracks small and medium-sized companies on the stock exchange, increased by 0.55%, reaching 1,431.81 points.
On Tuesday, the MASI index had closed with a loss of 0.28%.
