Highlights of the Government Council on November 14
The Government Council, chaired by Aziz Akhannouch, convened on Thursday, November 14, to continue discussions on a sectoral presentation, deliberate on several legal draft texts, review an international agreement, and consider high-level appointments in line with Article 92 of the Constitution.
Approval of a Decree Supporting Defense Industries The Council approved draft decree no. 2.24.966, amending decree no. 2.17.743 (dated June 19, 2018), which extends temporary tax exemptions under Article 6 of the General Tax Code to companies involved in the production of defense equipment, weapons, and ammunition. The proposal was presented by Abdellatif Loudiyi, Minister Delegate for National Defense Administration, on behalf of Fouzi Lekjaa, Minister Delegate for Budget Affairs.
Amendments to the Medicine and Pharmacy Code The Council adopted draft law no. 61.24, which ratifies decree-law no. 2.24.728 of September 27, 2024. This decree amends law no. 17.04 concerning the Medicine and Pharmacy Code and was published in Official Bulletin no. 7339 on September 30, 2024.
