Casablanca Stock Exchange: Slight Drop at Opening on Friday
The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading this Friday on a downward trend, with its main index, MASI, declining by 0.07% to settle at 14,740.94 points.
Right after the opening, both the MASI.20 index, which tracks the performance of the top 20 listed companies, and the MASI.ESG index, measuring companies with the best ESG ratings, dropped by 0.12% (1,194.06 points) and 0.11% (1,057.21 points), respectively.
Conversely, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, reflecting the performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, increased by 0.45%, reaching 1,438.58 points.
