The General Directorate of Meteorology predicts for this Monday the passage of dense clouds starting in the morning, leading to scattered and sometimes stormy rains over the southern provinces, the High and Middle Atlas Mountains, their eastern slopes, and the Souss region.
In the afternoon and overnight, the sky will become partly cloudy, with chances of rain or local showers over the northern and central plains.
Moderate to fairly strong wind gusts are expected over the Middle Atlas Mountains, the Souss region, and the northern Saharan provinces.
Minimum temperatures will range between 4°C and 10°C in the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, and the eastern high plateaus. They will be between 15°C and 20°C in the Saharan provinces and Souss region and range from 10°C to 16°C elsewhere.
During the day, maximum temperatures will drop in southern regions.
As for sea conditions, it will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, and slightly choppy to choppy, locally calm between Tan-Tan and Lagouira.
