Weather Alert: Heatwaves and Strong Winds in Several Moroccan Regions

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts hot weather, with temperatures ranging between 28 and 33 degrees, from Saturday to Monday. Additionally, strong wind gusts, reaching speeds of 75 to 85 km/h, accompanied by dust, are expected this Sunday across various regions of the Kingdom.

According to an orange-level weather alert, the high temperatures will affect the provinces of Sidi Bennour, Kenitra, Guelmim, Tan-Tan, Agadir-Ida Outanane, Chtouka-Aït Baha, Inezgane-Aït Melloul, Sidi Ifni, Tiznit, Benslimane, Berrechid, Essaouira, Casablanca, Médiouna, Mohammedia, Nouaceur, Rabat, Salé, Témara-Skhirat, El Jadida, and Safi.

As for the strong winds, they will primarily impact the provinces of Guelmim, Agadir-Ida Outanane, Chtouka-Aït Baha, Inezgane-Aït Melloul, Sidi Ifni, Taroudant, Tiznit, Al Haouz, Chichaoua, and Essaouira.
