Casablanca Stock Exchange Starts the Day Down
The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened this Friday’s trading session on a downward trend, with its main index, MASI, dropping by 0.57% to settle at 14,796.79 points.
The MASI.20 index, reflecting the performance of the top 20 listed companies, fell by 0.68% to 1,201.74 points, while the MASI.ESG, which tracks companies with the best ESG ratings, recorded a 0.7% decline, settling at 1,052.2 points.
However, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, tracking the performance of small and medium-sized companies, rose by 0.83% to 1,467.61 points.
On the individual stocks front, the biggest losers were:
