The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading this Monday with a positive performance. Its main index, MASI, rose by 0.16% to reach 14,786.34 points.
Similarly, the MASI.20 index, reflecting the performance of 20 leading listed companies, also increased by 0.16% to 1,202.06 points. However, the MASI.ESG index, which tracks companies with top ESG ratings, dropped by 0.11% to settle at 1,048.61 points.
Meanwhile, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, representing the performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, recorded a notable increase of 0.47%, reaching 1,472.23 points.
It is worth noting that the MASI index closed last Friday’s session with a 0.8% loss.
