Casablanca Stock Exchange Starts Tuesday’s Session Down
The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened Tuesday’s trading session with a downward trend. Its main index, MASI, dropped by 0.16%, settling at 14,775.29 points.
The MASI.20, reflecting the performance of the top 20 listed companies, declined by 0.15% to 1,200.62 points, while the MASI.ESG, which tracks companies with the highest ESG ratings, fell by 0.13% to 1,050.67 points.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap, representing the performance of small and mid-cap companies, slightly decreased by 0.02% to 1,470.47 points.
Declining Stocks
The biggest drops were recorded by:
- Micro Data (-4.37%, at 621.5 MAD),
- Delta Holding (-3.41%, at 52.06 MAD),
- Disway (-2.35%, at 631.5 MAD).
Rising Stocks
Conversely, the biggest gains included:
- Risma (+6.58%, at 243 MAD),
- Montadis (+2.32%, at 299.8 MAD).
On Monday, the MASI index closed with a 0.24% gain.
