Winners of the 22nd Edition of Morocco’s National Press Grand Prize
The winners of the 22nd edition of Morocco’s National Press Grand Prize were announced yesterday, Friday in Rabat, during a ceremony attended by key figures such as Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, Abdeljabar Rachidi, Secretary of State for Social Integration, and Mohamed Amine Benabdellah, President of the Constitutional Court.
Honorary Award
The honorary award, recognizing outstanding contributions to the national media landscape, was jointly given to Mustafa Alaoui and Latifa Marouane.

- Fadwa Mrabti (Al-Ghad Al-Arabi).

Television Award :
- Jamâa Klahssan (2M) for « Stay or Build ».
- Abdelhamid Jibrane (Al Aoula) for « Mechanism of Renewable Energies ».
Radio Award :
- Amine Lamrani (SNRT) for « Autistic Children: Silent Suffering ».
Print Journalism Award :
- Hamza Al-Metyawi (Assahifa) for his report on Algerian petro-dollar diplomacy.
Online Journalism Award :
- Mounia Sanhaji (LeMatin.ma) for her article on cannabis legalization.
Press Agency Award :
- Iman Baroudji and Maryem Rakik (MAP) for their respective works on breast cancer and women’s writing.
Regional Journalism Award :
- Khadija Benaji (Sada Taounate) for « Suicides in Taounate ».
- Mbark Kziz (Hona Sahara) for « The Encroaching Sand Dunes ».
Amazigh Journalism Award :
- Nadia Hassiso (Tamazight TV) for a report on ancient tribal leaders.
Saharan Cultural Journalism Award :
- Hafid Mohdar (TV Laayoune) for a report on camel racing.
Investigative Journalism Award :
- Salma Al-Shatt (Sawt Al-Maghrib) for an investigation into Myanmar’s detention camps.
Photography Award :
- Mohamed Krimi (Hespress) for « An Orthodox Jewish Man Finds Community in Morocco While Supporting Palestine ».
Participation and Innovations
Aziz Bousta, head of the jury, highlighted the significant rise in female participation (40% of applications) and equal representation among winners. He proposed enhancements such as a mixed nomination system, a new sports journalism category, and updated criteria for cartoonists.
