The General Directorate of Meteorology expects cold weather accompanied by local frost on Monday, particularly in the morning and at night over the mountains, surrounding areas, and the eastern regions.
Low clouds will form in the morning and night over northern Oriental and the Moulouya Valley, with relatively dense clouds expected along the western Mediterranean coast and northwestern Saharan provinces. High clouds will pass over the rest of the country.
Temperatures will drop in the southeastern regions and southern provinces, with a chance of dust or sand particles in the Anti-Atlas and southern areas. Strong winds will blow in the Tangier area and moderately strong winds along the Mediterranean coast, southern Rif, and southern shores.
Minimum temperatures will range from -1°C to 5°C in the Atlas and Rif mountains and eastern highlands, between 18°C and 23°C in the far south, and between 6°C and 12°C in most other regions. Daytime temperatures will increase in the northern and central plains and Souss but decrease elsewhere.
The sea will be slightly to moderately rough in the Mediterranean and between Assilah and Tarfaya, rough to very rough in the Strait and north of Assilah, and slightly rough south of Tarfaya.
