The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading this Monday with gains. Its main index, MASI, rose by 0.51%, settling at 14,779.67 points. Similarly, the MASI.20 index, reflecting the performance of 20 listed companies, increased by 0.6%, reaching 1,200.38 points. The MASI.ESG index, which tracks companies with top ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) ratings, grew by 0.47% to stand at 1,049.02 points. Additionally, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, focusing on small and medium-sized enterprises, climbed by 0.3%, closing at 1,485.21 points. It’s worth noting that the MASI index ended last Friday’s trading session with a gain of 0.18%.
