His Majesty King Mohammed VI has sent a message of condolences and solidarity to the President of the French Republic, Mr. Emmanuel Macron, following the devastating impact of Cyclone Cheneso on the Mayotte archipelago.
In the message, the King stated: “I was deeply moved upon learning of the passage of the devastating Cyclone Cheneso over Mayotte.”
He added: “In these challenging times for your country, I extend to you, and through you, to the French people and the bereaved families, my sincerest condolences and deepest sympathy.”
King Mohammed VI also expressed compassion for the injured and those affected by the disaster, affirming that Morocco stands in solidarity with the friendly French people and shares in their pain during this ordeal.
