The FIFA has released its monthly national team rankings, showing minimal changes compared to the previous month.
The Moroccan national team retains its 14th position with a total of 1688.18 points.
Despite this stability, the “Atlas Lions” remain the top African and Arab team, outperforming nations such as Senegal (17th globally) and Egypt (33rd globally).
Compared to the 2022 rankings, when Morocco finished the World Cup at 11th globally, the team has dropped to 13th in 2023 and further to 14th in 2024.
With upcoming continental and international competitions, the “Atlas Lions” aim to sustain their strong performance to maintain their global ranking and strive for a return to the Top 10.
