Orange Alert: Snowfall and Strong Winds Expected

The General Directorate of Meteorology has reported upcoming snowfall on elevations above 1800 meters (10 to 40 cm) and strong wind gusts accompanied by dust (70 to 85 km/h) on Saturday and Sunday in various regions of the Kingdom.

In an « orange » level warning bulletin, the Directorate specified that snowfall, ranging from 10 to 40 cm, will affect the provinces of Azilal, Al Haouz, Tinghir, Midelt, Ouarzazate, and Taroudant, from 10 a.m. Saturday until noon Sunday.

Additionally, strong wind gusts, accompanied by dust, are expected this Sunday in the provinces of Sidi Ifni, Guelmim, Agadir-Ida Outanane, Chtouka-Aït Baha, Inezgane-Aït Melloul, Tiznit, Al Haouz, Taroudant, and Tan-Tan.
