Weather Forecast for Monday
The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts a generally cold to very cold day for Monday, with frost or ice forming in the morning and at night in mountainous areas, the southeastern regions, the eastern part of the country, the high plateaus, and the interior plains.
Fog banks are expected during the morning and night over the northern and central plains, as well as in the eastern region. Apart from this, the weather will remain mostly stable and sunny across the kingdom.
Moderate to strong wind gusts are anticipated in the Anti-Atlas and northern parts of the southern provinces.
Minimum temperatures will range between -6°C and 0°C in the High Atlas, 0°C and 4°C in other mountainous areas, the Rif, and the high plateaus, 9°C and 15°C in the Souss region and northwest of the southern provinces, and 4°C to 7°C in other parts of the country. Daytime temperatures will see an increase.
As for the sea conditions, the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar will experience calm to slightly choppy waters. The sea will be rough between Casablanca and Tarfaya, becoming very rough north of Cap Ghir in the evening. Elsewhere, conditions will be calm to slightly choppy, with occasional morning calmness north of Asilah.
