Diplomatic Meeting between Morocco and Senegal
The Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita, hosted Senegalese Minister of African Integration and Foreign Affairs, Aïssata Tall Sall, this Monday in Rabat. She delivered a written message to His Majesty King Mohammed VI from the President of the Republic of Senegal, Macky Sall.
In a press statement following the meeting, Minister Tall Sall praised the “relations of solidarity, friendship, and economic cooperation” between the two nations, expressing her desire to “strengthen them on multiple levels.”
She also addressed the upcoming session of the Moroccan-Senegalese Joint Commission, scheduled for early 2025. This meeting will provide an opportunity to lay the groundwork for identifying priority areas of cooperation and partnership between the two countries.
Additionally, the Senegalese Minister of Foreign Affairs noted that she had discussed continental issues and regional and Atlantic partnerships with her Moroccan counterpart. The Morocco-Nigeria gas pipeline project was also on the agenda.
