7th Edition of the Oulad Teïma International Film Festival

The city of Oulad Teïma, located in the Taroudant province, will host the 7th edition of the Oulad Teïma International Film Festival from December 27 to 29. Organized under the theme “Cinema and Heritage,” this cultural event is spearheaded by the « Forum Al Zill for Theater and Cinema » association.

According to the organizers, the festival is supported by the Oulad Teïma Municipality, the Souss-Massa Regional Council, and the Souss-Massa Center for Cultural Development. Its mission is to promote cinema as a medium for expressing cultural and heritage values and to connect younger generations to their identity through the seventh art.

This year’s edition will feature a selection of national and international films from countries including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Oman, Spain, and Morocco.

The program includes screenings of local and international films, training workshops in cinema and creativity, as well as film screenings within educational institutions to foster cinematic culture among youth. Additionally, intellectual discussions will explore issues related to cinema and heritage.

A highlight of the festival will be a tribute ceremony honoring several artists for their cultural and artistic contributions.
