Snowfall Alert: Significant Accumulations Expected in Moroccan Highlands

The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced heavy snowfall expected in areas above 1500 meters, with accumulations ranging from 10 to 40 cm, from Saturday to next Monday across various regions of the kingdom.

In an « orange » level warning, the Directorate specified that snowfalls between 20 and 40 cm will impact the provinces of Midelt, Azilal, Béni Mellal, Tinghir, Al Haouz, and Ouarzazate.

Additionally, snowfall ranging from 10 to 20 cm will also affect the provinces of Ifrane, Chichaoua, Taroudant, and Boulemane.
