Extraordinary Session of the Council of Territorial Communities of Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima: Strategic Decisions

The Council of Territorial Communities of Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima « Distribution » held an extraordinary session on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at the Fahs-Anjra Prefecture headquarters. The meeting was chaired by Council President Mounir Limouri, with the attendance of the Secretary General of the Northern Region Wilaya, Ibrahim Mahraoui.

The extraordinary session brought together various representatives from the region’s provinces and prefectures. Among them were First Vice President Mustapha El Bakouri, President of Tetouan Municipality; Second Vice President Mohamed Sefiani, President of Chefchaouen Municipality; along with other municipal leaders and parliamentary representatives.

During the session, the 138 attending members unanimously approved all agenda items. This included adopting the Council’s internal regulations and the statutes and shareholder agreement for the « Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Regional Multiservice Company, S.A. »

The assembly also endorsed the state’s contribution, through the Ministry of Interior, to the company’s capital. Furthermore, they approved integration measures for transferring debts from the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water to the local utilities framework.
