Personal Data Protection Week
The National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection (CNDP) will hold a Personal Data Protection Week from January 27 to 31 across various regions. This event coincides with Data Privacy Day, celebrated globally on January 28.
This year’s edition also marks the 15th anniversary of Law No. 08-09, which governs the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data.

The program includes seminars with civil society groups, healthcare professionals, and legal experts focusing on rights and obligations in data protection.
For youth, the “Kon ‘Ala Bal” platform will be showcased to promote awareness of digital privacy for children and teenagers.
