King Mohammed VI Congratulates Joseph Aoun on His Election as President of Lebanon

His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency General Joseph Aoun on the occasion of his election as President of the Lebanese Republic.

In this message, the King expressed his heartfelt congratulations to General Joseph Aoun, coupled with his best wishes for the Lebanese people to achieve their aspirations for progress and prosperity in an atmosphere of security, unity, and stability.

In his message, His Majesty stated: “I commend the trust placed in you during this presidential election and hope that this significant national event will serve as a cornerstone for advancing the democratic process and fostering harmony and cohesion among all components of your esteemed people, while safeguarding Lebanon’s sovereignty and national unity.”

King Mohammed VI added: “On this occasion, I would like to reaffirm the Kingdom of Morocco’s unwavering solidarity with the Lebanese people and to assure Your Excellency of my strong commitment to working together to strengthen the bonds of genuine brotherhood and constructive cooperation between our two countries, elevating them to meet the aspirations of our peoples for greater progress and prosperity.”
