Weather Forecast for Saturday

The General Directorate of Meteorology predicts generally cold weather this Saturday, with frost during the night and early morning over the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, and the high eastern plateaus.

Cloudy skies are expected, with a chance of very light and localized rain over the regions of Tangier, Loukkos, and the northwest.

Additionally, fog patches will form at night and early morning along the Atlantic coasts, while the weather will remain sunny in other regions.

Moderate to strong winds are forecast in the eastern region, central coasts, and the Mediterranean front.

Minimum temperatures will range between -2°C and 3°C in the Atlas Mountains, eastern slopes, the Rif, and the eastern region, between 9°C and 14°C in the central region, Saharan provinces, and near the coasts, and between 5°C and 9°C in other areas.

During the day, temperatures will rise in the southeastern and Saharan provinces, while they will slightly drop in other areas.

As for sea conditions, the Mediterranean will be calm to slightly rough, the Strait of Gibraltar and the area between Tan-Tan and Laâyoune will be slightly rough to rough, the area between Jorf and Cap Ghir will be rough to very rough, and other areas will be rough.
