Transfermarkt Update: Harikass Tops Wydad’s Most Valuable Players List

In the latest update from « Transfermarkt, » a website specializing in player market valuations, international defender Jamal Harikass has emerged as the most valuable player at Wydad Athletic Club. His market value is estimated at €1.50 million, surpassing his teammates, goalkeeper Reda Tagnaouti (€900,000) and Mohamed Rahihi, who ranks third at €700,000.

Additionally, Saudi club Al Oruba has shown interest in signing Harikass, offering a financial compensation package of 6 million Moroccan dirhams to Wydad. Despite the enticing offer, Wydad’s management has yet to make a final decision regarding the international defender’s future, whose contract with the club ends at the conclusion of the current season.

It is worth noting that Wydad Athletic Club signed Jamal Harikass during the summer 2023 transfer window after his contract with rival club Raja Casablanca expired. This transfer was considered one of the standout deals of last season’s market, significantly bolstering Wydad’s defensive lineup.
