Two Minors Wearing Royal Gendarmerie Uniforms Spark Controversy in Fnideq
The Public Prosecutor’s Office in Tétouan has launched a thorough investigation after two underage girls were apprehended in Fnideq for walking around in Royal Gendarmerie uniforms. This unusual incident has stirred significant debate among local residents.
According to reports, a gendarme with the rank of Chief Adjutant noticed the girls and questioned them about their identity and duties. Their nervous behavior and failure to provide clear answers prompted him to alert his superiors, leading to their arrest and transfer to the Fnideq police station for further investigation.
Preliminary inquiries revealed that the two girls had no connection to the Royal Gendarmerie. Their wearing of military uniforms under unexplained circumstances has raised questions about potential intentions inconsistent with the law.
Judicial police officers are following leads to identify the source of the military attire and uncover any possible involvement of other parties in the case.
Following instructions from the Public Prosecutor, the minors were placed in custody. Their parents have been summoned to appear before the competent authorities, with the case expected to proceed to the investigating judge at the Tétouan Court of First Instance.
