Report of the Court of Accounts
On Wednesday, Zineb El Adaoui, the First President of the Court of Accounts, presented a report during a joint public session of both houses of Parliament. This report covers the activities of the Court for the 2023-2024 period, in accordance with Article 148 of the Constitution.
In her opening remarks, Ms. El Adaoui emphasized that this meeting represents a significant constitutional event aligned with international best practices. The aim is to provide members of Parliament and the public with an overview of the key developments and issues concerning public management.
The presentation highlighted major findings related to the challenges of public management performance and the enforcement of accountability principles. It focused on three primary areas:
- Monitoring the implementation of major reforms.
- Evaluating public programs and projects as well as management audits.
- Strengthening the principle of accountability.
