Casablanca Stock Exchange Starts the Day in the Green

The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading this Friday on a positive note. Its main index, the « MASI, » grew by 0.14%, reaching 16,103.28 points.

Meanwhile, the « MASI.20 » index, reflecting the performance of 20 major listed companies, recorded a 0.12% increase to settle at 1,306.56 points. Conversely, the MASI.ESG index, which tracks companies with the highest ESG ratings, saw a slight decline of -0.01%, closing at 1,122.48 points.

Additionally, the « MASI Mid and Small Cap » index, measuring the performance of small and medium-sized companies, advanced by 0.51% to reach 1,671.45 points.

It is worth noting that the MASI index ended yesterday’s Thursday session with a modest gain of 0.01%.
