The World Trade Organization (WTO) continues to highlight Morocco’s dynamic entrepreneurship and innovation through two new episodes of its online series, focusing this time on the country’s booming aeronautics industry.

In the latest video, titled “In Pursuit of the Spirit of Marrakech” and celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Marrakech Agreement signed in April 1994, host Jun On Lee states: “In Nouaceur, innovation embodies the spirit of Marrakech – trade as a force for good.”

Sabca Morocco specializes in manufacturing and assembling aircraft components, working with companies such as Airbus and Pilatus. Souad Chakrad, Program Director, emphasizes: “Globalization has allowed us to establish a competitive base in Morocco, advancing the local supply chain.”

The second episode features Hexcel Morocco, producing advanced lightweight materials for aviation. Plant Director Meryem Alaoui Amrani notes: “Morocco offers real competitive advantages, attracting significant foreign investment to the aeronautics sector.”

The series plans to continue exploring the impact of trade on communities and businesses worldwide.
