The General Directorate of Meteorology expects mostly cloudy skies today, with rain or showers potentially accompanied by thunderstorms over the western Mediterranean coasts, the Tangier area, Loukkos, and the Rif region.
During the following night, clouds will gradually thicken, bringing scattered rain to other Mediterranean coasts, the Saïs region, and the plains north of El Jadida.
In the morning and at night, low clouds accompanied by patches of fog will form over the northern and central plains, as well as the northwestern parts of the Saharan provinces. Additionally, moderate to strong gusts of wind will affect Tangier, the Rif, the Mediterranean coast, the country’s northwest, the Middle Atlas, the Oriental region, and the Saharan provinces.
Temperatures will generally rise, though mornings and nights will remain relatively cold in the mountains and high plateaus.
Minimum temperatures will range between 2–3°C in the Atlas Mountains, 9–15°C in the southern provinces and near the coasts, and 4–10°C across the rest of the country.
Regarding sea conditions, the Mediterranean will be rough to very rough, the Strait of Gibraltar will be slight to moderate, becoming rough to very rough in the afternoon. North of Tarfaya, the sea will be rough to very rough, becoming very rough to high by midday. South of Tarfaya, it will remain slight to moderate.
