The Casablanca judicial police, in close coordination with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST), arrested a 30-year-old man on Monday evening. The suspect was the subject of numerous nationwide arrest warrants for charges including premeditated murder and illegal trafficking of various drugs such as “bofa,” cocaine, and psychotropic pills.

According to a security source, the arrest took place in El Jadida during a precise operation based on intelligence from the DGST. The suspect was known for drug trafficking activities in the Khiyata area near Berrechid and faced 49 national warrants—46 issued by the Royal Gendarmerie and three by the Casablanca police.

Initial investigations linked him to a homicide committed on the night of January 11–12, believed to have been motivated by disputes related to drug trafficking. Significant sums of money, suspected to be proceeds from his illegal activities, were also seized during the operation.

The suspect is currently in custody under the supervision of the public prosecutor as investigations continue to uncover his full criminal activities, apprehend accomplices, and seize all illicit proceeds.
