Artist Amal Athimar Injured in a Traffic Accident in Marrakech

The artist Amal Athimar was involved in a traffic accident last night, Tuesday, in the Douar Al-Askhar area of the Menara district in Marrakech.

The accident occurred around 6 p.m. when she got out of her car and attempted to cross the street, only to be hit by a motorcycle. The collision resulted in multiple fractures, leading to her urgent transfer to the emergency department.

Amal Athimar is expected to undergo surgery this Wednesday at a private clinic in Marrakech.

It is worth noting that last December, she was honored by the Ben Guerir Film Festival in recognition of her significant contributions to Moroccan artistic culture.
