Ashraf Bencharki Departs Al Rayyan Officially
Qatari club Al Rayyan officially announced this Wednesday the termination of its contract with Moroccan player Ashraf Bencharki, wishing him success in his future career.
In a statement on its official X account, Al Rayyan said: « The club and Ashraf Bencharki have reached an agreement to terminate their contract, following the player’s request and the payment of the release clause. »
Bencharki, 30, joined Al Rayyan in September 2023 from Al Jazira (UAE) and was originally contracted until the end of the 2024-2025 season.
This season, he has played 16 matches across all competitions, scoring 4 goals and providing 6 assists.
Since joining the club, he has featured in 44 matches, netting 18 goals and assisting 12.
During his time at Al Rayyan, Bencharki played in various attacking positions, including as a central striker, second forward, winger, and attacking midfielder.
