Two Individuals Arrested in Agadir for Drug Trafficking

The Anti-Gang Squad of the Agadir Police Department arrested two individuals, aged 30 and 37, on the evening of Friday, January 31. One of them is a taxi driver, while the other is a repeat offender, both suspected of being involved in drug possession and trafficking of psychotropic substances.

The suspects were apprehended in a second-category taxi while actively selling illegal pills. A search conducted as part of the investigation led to the seizure of 491 drug tablets of various types, along with a sum of money suspected to be the proceeds of this criminal activity.

The suspects were placed in police custody under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to determine the full scope of their activities and uncover all related criminal acts.
