Drug Traffickers Arrested in Tangier: 2,430 Pills Seized

The judicial police in the Beni Makada security district of Tangier arrested two individuals, aged 41 and 54, on the evening of Wednesday, February 5. Both suspects, with prior criminal records, are accused of being involved in drug possession and trafficking of psychotropic substances.

The suspects were apprehended in a neighborhood of Tangier while in the act of selling hallucinogenic pills. A search operation led to the seizure of 2,430 drug pills of various types.

The suspects have been placed under judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor to uncover further connections in this criminal activity and identify additional accomplices.
