His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid Presides Over a Dinner Hosted by His Majesty King Mohammed VI

Rabat, February 8 – His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid presided over a dinner on Friday at the Chellah archaeological site in Rabat, hosted by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, on the occasion of the 49th Hassan II Golf Trophy and the 28th edition of the Princess Lalla Meryem Cup. These prestigious tournaments are held under the High Patronage of the King from February 3 to 8.

Upon his arrival, Prince Moulay Rachid, President of the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation and the Hassan II Golf Trophy Association, reviewed a detachment of Auxiliary Forces that rendered him honors before greeting several dignitaries, including ministers and key sports and economic figures.

During the evening, an institutional film was screened, chronicling the history of the Hassan II Trophy and the Lalla Meryem Cup. The documentary highlighted significant moments of these competitions and showcased renowned international golf champions who have claimed the titles since their inception in 1971 and 1993, respectively, at the initiative of the late King Hassan II.
