Five Arrested for Sports-Related Violence in Casablanca

On Monday evening, police officers in the Moulay Rachid district of Casablanca arrested five individuals suspected of involvement in acts of violence related to sports hooliganism and damage to private property.

According to a security source, Casablanca law enforcement received a report about a group of individuals, believed to be affiliated with local football fan factions, engaging in violent altercations and causing material damage to parked vehicles on public streets. Prompt police intervention led to the swift arrest of five suspects shortly after the incidents occurred.

The detained suspects are now under judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to determine the circumstances and motives behind these acts. Meanwhile, investigations are ongoing to apprehend other potential perpetrators involved in these criminal acts.
