The Director General of the Agricultural Development Agency, Mehdi Refai, emphasized that the Moroccan pavilion at the International Agricultural Show in Paris (February 22 – March 2) showcases sustainable and innovative agriculture. For the first time since its inception, the event is honoring a foreign country, and Morocco has been chosen as the guest of honor.

In a statement to the press, Refai explained that this recognition highlights the strong cooperation between Morocco and France, particularly in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries.

The Moroccan pavilion, which features around thirty cooperatives from the country’s twelve regions, displays a wide range of agricultural products, including fruits, vegetables, and export-oriented goods for Europe and other global markets.

Under the theme « Morocco, Centuries of Flavors », the pavilion goes beyond product exhibition, offering an immersive experience into the country’s rich agricultural and cultural heritage through interactive activities and Moroccan cuisine tastings.

Spanning 476 square meters, the pavilion showcases a diverse selection of local products, crafted by 76 cooperatives bringing together nearly 2,000 small farmers, including 639 women who are the true guardians of Morocco’s traditional craftsmanship.
