Government Council Meeting Scheduled for Thursday

The Government Council is set to convene next Thursday under the chairmanship of Aziz Akhannouch, the Head of Government.

According to a statement from the Government Presidency, the Council will begin its session by discussing a draft law related to collective investment organizations in transferable securities.

The statement further indicates that the Council will continue its proceedings by reviewing two draft decrees. The first concerns amendments to the decree establishing a temporary directorate within the Ministry of Equipment and Water, responsible for overseeing the development work of National Road No. 1 between Tiznit and Dakhla. The second aims to modify and supplement the decree on the reorganization of the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and Cultural Animation.

The Council will conclude its session by examining proposals for high-level appointments in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution, before holding a special meeting to discuss certain legislative proposals.
