26 Mosques to Open for Worshippers at the Start of Ramadan

The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has announced that His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, may God assist him, has graciously ordered the opening of mosques that have been newly built, reconstructed, or restored by the ministry. This initiative will take effect at the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, with a total of 26 mosques welcoming worshippers.

According to the ministry’s statement, these mosques include 4 newly built ones, 13 that have been reconstructed, and 9 that have been restored.

The total capacity of these mosques is 14,836 worshippers, with an overall cost of 160 million dirhams.
