Government Approves High-Level Appointments
The Government Council approved, this Thursday, several proposals for appointments to high-level positions, in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.
According to a statement from the Ministry in charge of Relations with Parliament and the Government Spokesperson, the following appointments were made within the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests – Agriculture Sector:
- Majid Lahlu was appointed Inspector General,
- Zakaria El Yaakoubi, Director of Irrigation and Agricultural Development,
- Hicham Errahali, Director General of the National Agricultural Advisory Office,
- Jawad Bahaji, President of the General Council for Agricultural Development.
In the Maritime Fisheries sector, the appointments include:
- Ibrahim Boudinar, Secretary-General,
- Abdellah El Mesttir, Director of Maritime Fisheries,
- Hassan El Filali, Director of General and Legal Affairs,
- Ilham El Manouni, Director of Strategy and Cooperation,
- Mohamed Njih, Director of the National Institute for Fisheries Research.
Additionally, in the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation, Souleiman Mahdad was appointed Director of Budget and General Affairs.
Finally, in the Ministry of National Education, Preschool Education, and Sports – National Education and Preschool Sector, El Houssain Kaddad was appointed Inspector General.
