Government Warns Against Fake Account of the Prime Minister

The Prime Minister, Aziz Akhannouch, has stated that the account circulating on X last Tuesday evening, falsely presenting itself as his, is a fake account.
In an official statement, the Government Presidency clarified that a fraudulent account was created on the social media platform X, impersonating Aziz Akhannouch. This fake profile promotes a supposed Moroccan digital currency and fake online transactions.
Since this account may spread misinformation or content unrelated to the Prime Minister or the Government Presidency, the statement emphasized that the only official and verified account for the Prime Minister’s activities on X is: @ChefGov_ma.
The Government Presidency urged citizens and social media users to be cautious when encountering fake accounts and to rely only on official sources for accurate information.
This warning comes after a fake account attempted to encourage users to buy a so-called Moroccan cryptocurrency, falsely promising guaranteed profits. The Government Presidency stressed the importance of relying on official sources to avoid falling victim to online scams.
