According to the Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC), the number of companies created in Morocco reached 95,256 by the end of 2024.
OMPIC reports that these companies include 67,546 legal entities and 27,710 individual entrepreneurs.
The commercial sector leads with 35.13%, followed by construction & real estate (19.21%), various services (18.20%), transportation (8.10%), industry (7.31%), hospitality & restaurants (5.61%), ICT (2.79%), financial activities (1.97%), and agriculture & fishing (1.68%).
The Casablanca-Settat region leads with 29,558 new businesses, followed by Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (13,876) and Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (11,140). Other regions recorded between 793 and 10,624 business creations.
Single-member LLCs dominate with 64.8%, followed by standard LLCs at 34.5%.
