Arrest of Two Polish Nationals Wanted by the U.S. for Drug Trafficking

As part of international security cooperation with U.S. law enforcement agencies, the National Brigade of Judicial Police has arrested two Polish nationals, aged 33 and 43. They were the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by the U.S. judicial authorities, suspected of being linked to a criminal network involved in the international trafficking of synthetic drugs.
According to a security source, the suspects were apprehended in Tangier. A database check of internationally wanted persons confirmed that they were sought under an international arrest warrant issued by U.S. judicial authorities for their alleged involvement in trafficking fentanyl, a chemically manufactured synthetic drug.
The suspects have been placed in police custody as part of the extradition process, while U.S. authorities have been notified to submit the extradition file. This arrest is part of Morocco’s ongoing efforts to combat transnational crime and apprehend internationally wanted individuals.
