National Commission Remains Vigilant Against Misleading Comments

The National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the security of its website after detecting several misleading comments on its platform.

In a statement, the Commission specified that searches for its website on Google display « sales comments written in an East Asian language. » It emphasized that its website is not linked to the institution’s internal information system.

The same statement reassured that the security of the information managed by the Commission has not been compromised.

Furthermore, the Commission pointed out that Google continues to display an outdated version of its site, without the latest updates. It has therefore requested Google to reindex its website.

Additionally, the Commission reported that a wave of attacks targeting multiple websites has been observed since this morning, although it has not been directly affected. It assured that relevant authorities are taking the necessary measures to address the situation.
