The General Directorate of Meteorology expects continued rainfall or sometimes stormy showers in several regions of the country this Wednesday, including Tangier, Loukkos, Gharb, the Rif, the north of the Oriental region, and the western Mediterranean coast.

Additional rain is expected over the northern and central Atlantic plains, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the Middle Atlas, the north of the High Atlas, the Saïss region, and Souss.

Moreover, scattered raindrops will be observed in the eastern Mediterranean coast and the northwest of the southern provinces, with snowfall expected over the peaks of the High and Middle Atlas.

The weather will remain relatively cold, with risks of frost or ice in the mountains and surrounding areas.

Local dust will be noticeable in the eastern regions, the Middle Atlas, and the northern part of the Saharan provinces. Relatively strong wind gusts are expected in Tangier, the northern and central Atlantic plains, the Rif, the Atlas, the southern coasts, and the eastern regions.

Minimum temperatures will range between -3°C and 4°C in the Atlas and Rif mountains, between 5°C and 10°C in the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the high eastern plateaus, and the southeast, and between 11°C and 15°C in the rest of the country.

Daytime temperatures will rise.

As for sea conditions, the Mediterranean will be rough to very rough, the Strait of Gibraltar will be slightly to moderately rough, the northern coast of Cap Ghir will experience rough to very rough seas, while the southern coast will see slight to moderate waves.
